In this second annual competition, riders will compete in dunes more than 100 meters tall. Star competitors include Clenilso da Lima from Brazil and Victor Chávez of Lima.
“Over the past two years Paracas has become known as one of the best places for sandboarding in the world,” says Martin Guerra, who is organizing the event.
To attend the event, there will be dune buggies providing transportation starting at 9:30 a.m. from kilometer 253 of the Panamericana Sur highway. For more information, see the official website www.sandboardperu.com
