Where to stay in Lima

Country Club Hotel, Lima

As one of South America’s major capitals, Lima has some of Peru’s best business and tourist hotels on the continent. Up-market high end luxury hotels through to more economical two and three star good quality lodgings can be found. For those on a travel budget, there is also a selection of reasonably priced hostels.

Most Lima hotels can be found in the up-market districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, which are 40 minutes by taxi from the airport, and 30 minutes from the down-town historic centre. These two districts are safe and are full of great restaurants, bars, shopping areas and casinos.

Our travel professionals at ‘The Only Peru Guide’ have listed some of our favorite places to spend a night. Look out for the ‘Featured’ listings marked with an asterix, where we have included more information and reviews.
