Ecuador Hop Begins Service in Ecuador

Thinking about traveling in Ecuador on your trip to South America? Ecuador Hop is a new bus company beginning service soon with the goal of making it easier for travelers to discover some of Ecuador’s hidden gems. Sister companies Peru Hop and Bolivia Hop have made a name for themselves already in those countries, and now Ecuador Hop looks to bring that awarding-winning concept to one more country in South America. This new service will visit destinations such as the Cotopaxi Volcano, Quilotoa Lake, Montañita, Baños and more.

Hop on Hop Off Bus

Ecuador Hop is a hop on hop off bus company, the first of its type in Ecuador. This concept aims to combine the benefits of taking a guided tour with the flexibility of independent travel. The bus does bring you to the big cities and popular tourist attractions, but it also stops at some lesser-known destinations to give you a chance to see some of the country’s hidden gems that you wouldn’t have been able to discover on your own.

Ecuador Hop passes stay valid for one year, so you’re free to stay as long as you want at each place. Hop off at a destination, stay as long as you want, and then hop back on whenever you’re ready and continue to the next destination. The buses also offer direct pick-up from your hostel or hotel in Quito, so there’s no need to worry about arranging transport to a bus station or anything.

We love this style of travel because the only thing you have to worry about is enjoying the destination. There’s no need to stress about the small details of travel, but you’re also not being shuffled from place to place on a tour either. You see what you want to, do the things you want to, and don’t have to worry about the rest.
