Many people say that Peru is the best place for some of the best white water rafting in the world. Peru covers most of the Central Andes, and is full of fast and exciting rocky rivers flowing down from the many high mountainous peaks.
The best rafting opportunities exist manly in central and southern of Peru, on the rivers of The Urubamba (close to Cusco), the Apurimac River and the Cotahuasi River (near to the Colca Canyon).
