Norton Rats Tavern is really easy to find! It is located on the corner of the main square ‘Plaza de Armas’ across from Cusco Cathedral. The bar is located on the second floor, and the entrance is just around the corner opposite the club Muki.
About Norton Rats Tavern
This large bar is one of the most popular in town, with visitors and locals alike. Busy all week, the relaxed feel of the bar makes it a great place socialize, and is suitable for young and old. The bar has one large pool table (rented by the hour), three dart boards and several TV’s for watching sports events. The bar serves all the regular Peruvian beers, plus a selection of bottled European beers and has a large collection of spirits. The bar also offers a small snack menu.

Our Thoughts!
We like this bar! The mix of foreigners and locals drinking together creates a unique vibe, which is hard to find in any other bar in Cusco. Also, there are plenty of tables and chairs so you are never short of a seat. The menu is only really for snacks, but prices are good.
As owner of the Norton Rat’s Tavern, I’d like to say I appreciate the fine review. It is very nice and accurate, except for the part about the menu. We are famous for our great burgers. It is true that we don’t have a full blown restaurant menu; but we do have food worthy of a good breakfast, lunch or diner. We have giant burgers, burritos and other sandwiches as well as salds and the best “skin-on” fries you’ll find anywhere. We serve fantastic breakfasts from 7:00am to 5:00pm, including the only real pancakes in Cusco, al, as you said, at very reasonable prices. Now that we have a McDonald’s, Bembos and KFC on the Plaza de Armas, one can appreciate the quality and value of the food at Norton Rat’s Tavern all the more.

I have to say that I have had a few burgers in Norton Rats recently, and they were pretty good! The Super Duper Burger is a great value and a worthy feast for any hungry punter! Keep up the good work Jeff!
