Amazon Jungle Lodges
The Amazon Jungle in Peru has grown in popularity over the last ten years, with international visitors looking to experience something new and exciting. The three best areas that cater for Eco-tourism are Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve south of Iquitos in the north of Peru, and Manú National Park and Tambopata National Park located in the south, accessible from the Andean city of Cusco.
Most lodges work in partnership with local communities, and offer set tours of typically 3 or more days deep into the jungle. Set tours vary greatly depending on which lodge you choose, but typically include tour guides, transfers (including boats), accommodations, daily tours, water and meals.
